Turn requests into bounded tasks, reviewable artifacts and evidence-based acceptance.
#Specify the result before delegating
A task should identify the question to resolve, expected artifact, available inputs and acceptance criteria. “Research the topic” leaves the worker to invent the finish line. A better task requests a comparison of named approaches, primary sources, unresolved contradictions and a stated evidence cutoff. The manager also records resource limits and permissions, so a task’s apparent usefulness does not become implicit authorization for unrelated external actions.
#An agent record is not an agent
Delegation requires an actual execution mechanism: a native worker session, an authorized external collaborator or another documented executor. A row in a database can describe an assignment but cannot demonstrate that a separate worker ran. Record the connection between the assignment and execution evidence. AxiomAO uses native client delegation when available; its organizational runtime stores task history rather than pretending to supply a model by itself.
#Review the artifact against the criteria
A reviewer should receive the exact artifact and the criteria that existed before acceptance. Separate authorship and review where the mandate requires independence. Bind a review to an artifact version or hash: editing the report after approval can invalidate the verdict. Review is still fallible. Shared model weaknesses, incomplete source access and poorly chosen criteria can survive independent sessions, so consequential claims may also require reproducible checks or human assessment.
#Acceptance includes the next obligation
The manager records acceptance, rejection or requested revision with reasons and evidence. Finishing a task does not automatically close a promise to a requester. A literature report may be accepted while its owner-facing summary remains undelivered. Preserve the relationship between request, task, artifact, verdict, decision and reply. After interruption, inspect these records first: recovery should continue unfinished responsibilities instead of repeating a report simply because the conversation has restarted.
